Kate created Sky Meadow Bakery back in 2015 after leaving the corporate world in need of more creativity in her life and to follow her heart...which always leads to cake!
"There is something sort of magical about people gathering to celebrate, and there in the middle, full of anticipation and excitement, is a cake. Cakes mark so many of our life's milestones and markers - they have to be the 'cherry on top' of the celebration by being both beautiful and delicious"
Sky Meadow Bakery's elegant signature style is inspired by the beauty of nature and you will find most of Kate's designs include stunning flowers and foliage to complement the season, flavour and event.
When Kate is not in the kitchen you will find her reading lots of cookbooks, walking along the beach, trying out new recipes, enjoying a coffee in a local cafe, gardening or practicing her new hobby of lino cutting!
Sky Meadow Bakery’s home kitchen is based in a little corner
of Hove, near Brighton, on the South Coast of England.
